P.J. Tucker saw 29 minutes in Monday’s loss to the Thunder and delivered two points, four rebounds and four steals.
Tucker will never be leaned on to score the ball but it’s a little surprising that he couldn’t get in on the 3-point act with just one attempt from downtown. Nevertheless, his four steals meant that he lived up to expectations for fantasy owners. He also did a decent job of chasing Paul George around screens tonight, though he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar in the fourth on an and-one. Houston’s most intriguing lineups feature Tucker in the frontcourt but the Rockets might be holding those cards close to the vest. He’s hard to trust as anything more than a steals specialist unless his role expands.
