P.J. Tucker recorded 13 points and 11 boards on 6-of-11 from the field in Monday’s 105-116 loss to the Cavs.
Tucker got a lot of run in this one with 26 minutes and would have played more if the game been more competitive. The defensive minded veteran was matched up against Lebron James for most of the night, but failed to contain him. Although to be fair a lot of James’ points came from the perimeter and on fast breaks which is where he is basically unguardable. The Raptors started DeMarre Carroll, but he only played 15 minutes showing how little faith the Raptors coaching staff has in Carroll’s ability to defend James. Game 2 will take place on Wednesday.
