• PJ Washington
    PF, Charlotte Hornets

P.J. Washington has looked very good in Hornets' training camp and is in position to have a large role in his rookie season.

Hornets head coach James Borrego told the Charlotte Observer, "I could start him, I could play him off the bench, I could play him at (power forward), I could be playing him at (center). He (offers) a lot of versatility to our lineup if he enters that consistent rotation." That is high praise of the Kentucky product who has yet to play a regular season NBA game. The Hornets have expressed significant interest in embracing the "youth movement." All signs point to Washington having value this season despite the fact that he is a rookie. Don't be afraid of drafting this rookie somewhere in the last few rounds of your drafts but be aware that there will probably be higher-upside options that make more sense in most leagues.
