Lance Stephenson has always been a fiery player, and the Pacers will need him to use those emotions a bit more selectively going forward.
Stephenson got burned a few times on defense in Game 2 and wound up talking trash to Kyrie Irving, who lit up the Pacers for 37 points. The team looks to him for leadership and toughness and can’t have him firing up the other team’s best players. On the whole, Born Ready has been a positive in his second go around with the Pacers, injecting some much needed energy while serving as a primary playmaker in the second unit. We’ll see if he can keep his cool as Indiana looks to climb out of a 0-2 series deficit.
