Patrick Beverley was held to seven points with four rebounds and four assists Thursday night in a Game 6 loss to the Spurs.
Beverley followed up his 20 point game with a dud and tied Ryan Anderson with a team-worst minus-30. In a game where all of the Rockets looked sluggish and flat, it was surprising to see him as one of them. Beverley was quiet for most of the night and looks towards an especially long offseason with news of his grandfather’s passing. The Rockets will most likely keep the same squad intact as Beverley has an insanely team friendly contract, getting paid $10.5 million over the next two years.
