• Patrick Patterson
    PF, Oklahoma City Thunder

Patrick Patterson filled in admirably at the power forward spot on Saturday night, picking up 12 points, six rebounds, two threes and a block in 33 minutes against the Blazers.

Patterson got the call with Carmelo Anthony out and did what most owners were expecting — provide modest scoring with a handful of boards and some threes. He’s far from a flashy player but is an excellent resource for the Thunder and is a low-end option for out-of-position threes. The other candidate to start, Jerami Grant, brings more sizzle and was able to post 13 points, four rebounds, a 3-pointer and two blocks in 26 minutes. It’s clear which if the two has more to offer for fantasy owners.
