Pau Gasol played 27 minutes on Saturday for 15 points, a triple, seven rebounds, an assist and a block.
Gasol has been playing at mid-round value over his last 16 games and is averaging a nice 1.3 blocks per game in April. Despite that, his value next season is likely to dip below 80 as he is both aging and on a smart Spurs team. That means coach Gregg Popovich will not mind benching Gasol if he looks tired or wants to put less work on his body over the course of the season. But that’s not news. There should be players with better potential when picking in the 70s so don’t take Gasol unless you’re a betting man with little to lose.
