January 12, 2019, 6:57 pmPau Gasol - C/F - San Antonio Spurs
Pau Gasol will start against the Thunder on Saturday.
Gasol has recently replaced Jakob Poeltl in the starting five with Rudy Gay (sprained left wrist) sidelined indefinitely. The veteran has a fun stat set but just doesn't play enough to deliver for the vast majority of owners, starting or otherwise.

January 20, 2019, 1:55 amJames Harden - G - Houston Rockets
James Harden, coming off 57 & 58-point games, scored a mere 48 points on 14-of-30 shooting (8-of-19 3PTs, 12-of-15 FTs) with eight rebounds, six assists, four steals and one block in Saturday's 138-134 overtime win against the Lakers.
Harden has actually moved into the No. 2 slot in 9-cat leagues this season despite a ridiculous 5.6 turnovers per game, more than double most of the players in the top-12. He's running away with 8-cat leagues as this historic run continues.
January 20, 2019, 1:52 amAustin Rivers - G - Houston Rockets
Austin Rivers started and scored five points on 2-of-8 shooting (1-of-6 from deep) with five rebounds, five assists and one block over 46 minutes in Saturday's overtime win against the Lakers.
Don't look now but Rivers has been a healthy late-round value since arriving in Houston, aided of course by the fact they absolutely need him on the floor. He's standing and watching James Harden just like everybody else, but he's worth a look if you need a late-round guard.
January 20, 2019, 1:50 amPJ Tucker - F - Houston Rockets
P.J. Tucker scored nine points on 4-of-12 shooting (including a three) with nine rebounds, two assists, five steals and one block over 42 minutes in Saturday's overtime win against the Lakers.
Tucker is going to be a must-own player for the foreseeable future.
January 20, 2019, 1:48 amJames Ennis III - F - Houston Rockets
James Ennis started and scored 18 points on 6-of-9 shooting (including four threes) with three rebounds and one block over 27 minutes in Saturday's overtime win against the Lakers.
Ennis could scrape his way to some fantasy value on a banged up Rockets squad but owners can watch this action from the wire for the most part.
January 20, 2019, 1:47 amEric Gordon - G - Houston Rockets
Eric Gordon (knee soreness) started and scored 30 points on 7-of-16 shooting (5-of-10 3PTs, 11-of-12 FTs) with five rebounds and four assists over 32 minutes in Saturday's overtime win against the Lakers.
Gordon probably geared up for national TV and he's an easy late-round guy if he's hitting his shots, but that hasn't been the case this year. A bounce-back could have a top-100 impact but knee issues don't make us want to bet our house on it or anything.
January 20, 2019, 1:44 amGary Clark - F - Houston Rockets
Gary Clark scored six points on 2-of-4 shooting (all threes) with two rebounds in 14 minutes off the bench on Saturday against the Lakers.
Clark hasn't been able to do anything at all with the wide open lane he has in Houston and there is no fantasy value here.
January 20, 2019, 1:43 amJames Nunnally - F - Houston Rockets
Newly acquired James Nunnally missed all five of his field goal attempts and did not record another stat in his 13 minutes of action on Saturday against the Lakers.
Ouch. This isn't great as the Rockets try to see if they can deal Carmelo Anthony so they don't have to waive Nunnally due to the Kenneth Faried acquisition. After a night like this they may decide it's not worth the headache, though Nunnally took some convincing to come from overseas and play.
January 20, 2019, 1:41 amGerald Green - G/F - Houston Rockets
Gerald Green scored 17 points on 6-of-14 shooting (including four threes) with three rebounds and two assists in 28 minutes off the bench in Saturday's overtime win against the Lakers.
Green can easily have a stretch here with 2-3 treys per game or more while the Rockets are searching for healthy bodies. If that can help you out, give him a look.
January 20, 2019, 1:40 amBrandon Ingram - F - Los Angeles Lakers
Brandon Ingram scored 21 points on 7-of-12 shooting (1-of-2 3PTs, 6-of-8 FTs) with five rebounds, four assists and six turnovers in Saturday's overtime loss to the depleted Rockets.
If you can get anything in a deal for Ingram right now in a standard league you take it, since he really shouldn't be owned in the first place. Both Ingram and Kyle Kuzma (32 points, eight rebounds, three assists, two steals, four threes, 12-of-19 FGs) are sell-high guys with LeBron and Rajon Rondo coming back anytime.
January 20, 2019, 1:38 amKentavious Caldwell-Pope - G - Los Angeles Lakers
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored eight points on 4-of-12 shooting (0-for-7 from deep) with four rebounds and two steals over 40 minutes in Saturday's overtime loss to the Rockets.
Sure, he had stuff to do in a game trying to defend James Harden, but with LeBron and Rajon Rondo coming back the short-term value is probably over for KCP, though Lonzo Ball did injure an ankle in this one. Outside of pretty deep formats owners can easily move on.
