Paul George has agreed to a four-year, $173 million deal with the Thunder.
George was on stage with Russell Westbrook at the point guard's party tonight, talking about how he's going to stay and how he thinks they can win it all. PG ended up getting the max here and was also given a player option, so he could skip town down the line if the Thunder don't improve upon their first-round exit this season. Between this and Jerami Grant's deal, Oklahoma City is now spending $156 million on only 11 players. The wallets are open. Getting that fourth year here is a huge win for OKC, as it had been widely thought that PG might go two years plus an option. Oh, and after a full year of speculation, George never even gave his hometown Lakers a meeting.
