Paul George was able to cobble a double-double together on Saturday night despite a poor 4-of-16 shooting line, totaling 11 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, one steal, two blocks and a 3-pointer in 37 minutes against the Spurs.
Curiously, George was a minus-seven in a game where the Thunder pushed things to garbage time. Though he’s converting just 38.6 percent of his shots over the last five games, PG has upped the defense with 1.4 blocks per contest in that span. Give and take, you know how it goes. While George is posting just top-70 value over the last week, he’s still a second round player on the season and should bounce back soon along the way to another top-20 fantasy finish.
