Paul George scored only five points and added three rebounds, eight assists, one steal and six turnovers in the Thunder’s 96-91 loss to the Jazz on Friday night.
Woof. Not a good look for Playoff P. George just couldn’t find his rhythm in what would end up being the Thunder’s last stand for the season. He went 0-for-6 from deep including an errant shot with less than 20 seconds remaining where he may or may not have been fouled. Either way, the OK3 experiment had some highs but it certainly ended on a low with George’s performance and Carmelo Anthony logging a minus-19 in 26 minutes of action. Nobody truly knows what’s next for PG-13 but this important playoff outing won’t leave the best taste in Thunder fans’ mouths.
