Paul George led the Clippers in scoring in their 117-122 loss to the Rockets on Thursday with 34 points on 12-of-23 shooting while adding nine rebounds, three assists, two steals, two blocks and six 3-pointers.
George capped off a 15-2 run in the fourth quarter with back-to-back triples to give the Clippers a lead after being down double-digits, but eventually they succumbed to the Rockets. He's been stellar for the Clippers, posting top-10 per-game numbers with averages of 24.7 points, 3.9 3s, 5.9 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.6 steals on .448 shooting. The shooting would be his most efficient since the 2016-2017 year on the Pacers. The shoulder surgery has done wonders so far.
