Paul George continued to struggle with his shot in a 4-of-12 performance on Friday but still brought the goods with 17 points, five rebounds, two assists, three steals, two triples and a block.
George is dealing with a forearm issue that has affected his comfort level while shooting but was able to counteract that with aggression tonight, getting to the line 10 times (and hitting seven). And while owners undoubtedly want PG to return to his elite scoring levels, he’s about as dependable as they come in terms of producing steals and triples while also chipping in useful numbers in the other counting categories. George won’t fall outside the top-25 this year unless the arm stuff really throws him out of whack.
