Paul George brought the goods in a Wednesday loss, finishing with 37 points, five boards, two assists, three steals, a block and five triples.
George also committed five more turnovers, and that makes 20 over the past five games. Even so, PG13 has been a top-30 guy in 9-cat leagues over the past month, with a jump all the way up to the top-15 in 8-cat formats. George was great but had almost no help tonight – Jeff Teague was the only other Pacer to score in double figures. The other three starters combined for just 20 points and Indiana is inching closer to the 7-8-9 pack out East rather than climbing towards Atlanta. George will have to turn it up down the stretch until his teammates pick up the slack, which can only mean good things for fantasy owners.
