Paul Zipser caught fire from the field in Wednesday’s victory, shooting 8-of-13 and 5-of-7 from deep to score 21 points in a team-high 28 minutes.
Garbage time certainly helped Zipser’s case in this one. It was an up and down rookie year for the German, who went from out of the rotation to a member of the closing group while making stops all over the lineup in between. Perhaps he’ll get more run next year, but it’s tough to call until we see how the offseason shakes out.
