Brandon Jennings will be the Knicks’ sixth man according to Phil Jackson.
It makes sense given their roster construction and given the health issues of Derrick Rose he could be more than that pretty quick. We know Jennings’ limitations with efficiency but with a good amount of time between he and the Achilles’ injury, owners could be looking at a low-end late-round guy with upside in the event of an injury. Any time one can secure upside with a floor like that it’s worth a look, but we’ll have to see how he’s playing in a few months.
Brandon Jennings says Phil told him he expects Jennings to be Sixth Man of the Year. Jennings seems very comfortable with that projection.
