• Miles Bridges
    F, Charlotte Hornets

Hornets rookie Miles Bridges is playing well enough already that the team’s plan to bring him along slowly is changing.

The rookie has played very well so far in the preseason, proving to be a quick learner and impressing his veteran teammates. The 6’7” Bridges has played small forward, power forward and even a little small-ball center averaging 16.5 points while shooting 59 percent from the field and 50 percent from 3-point range. The sample is obviously small and he is still projected to be a reserve for a deep Hornets squad. Keep an eye on him though as, if he’s able to consistently space the floor, he could make for an intriguing late round flier for a team committed to his development.
