Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich revealed to reporters that Dejounte Murray is on a minutes limit as he continues to work his way back from his ACL tear.
Pop brought up the minutes restriction when explaining why he took Murray out of the game after making a great play. He also added that the restriction could come up soon. “I’m thinking maybe after about 10 games he’ll get up five or six minutes, something like that. (The training staff) will tell me,” Popovich continued, “That’s all I know.” Based on what we've seen so far, it's looking like Murray's restriction is at about 25 minutes with the potential to get up to 30 about eight games from now. The young guard has looked completely locked and loaded in his first stint back since missing all of last season. He could flirt with early-middle round value if he manages to stay healthy and ramp up his workload.
