Kristaps Porzingis played just 13 minutes in the Knicks’ blowout loss to the Jazz on Wednesday, scoring four points on 2-of-8 shooting with three rebounds and no defensive stats.
Derek Fisher threatened changes to the starting lineup and that would probably be Porzingis or Robin Lopez (two points, one block, 19 minutes), though everybody has been pining for Jose Calderon (nine points, two assists, one three, 21 minutes) and to a lesser degree Arron Afflalo (four points, two assists, 22 minutes) to get the hook. Kyle O’Quinn (nine points, six rebounds, two steals, one block, 16 minutes) is a fantasy darling that everybody wants to see on the floor more, Jerian Grant (three points, 1-of-7 FGs) may get ruined by Fisher for this season, and Langston Galloway (five points, 22 minutes) used to be productive before Fisher handed his job to the vets. Porzingis is the guy to keep an eye on because he’s threatening elite fantasy status and a change to the bench could make things rocky for a bit. Otherwise, try not to measure too much in a blowout.
