• Rajon Rondo
    G, Los Angeles Lakers

Rajon Rondo won't travel with the Lakers for Thursday's game in Houston and will see a hand specialist before determining the next steps in his recovery.

This will be game No. 14 on the sidelines for Rondo but he's getting close to a return. He had been participating in the bulk of practices before needing his hand drained on Sunday, so if Thursday's visit goes well it's possible that we see Rondo make his return to the court next week. His return will hurt Lonzo Ball and Josh Hart, but Ball is still a firm hold and should hold onto the starting job barring a total implosion.
