Rajon Rondo will sit out Thursday's preseason game for rest purposes, allowing Brandon Ingram to start at point guard.
Lonzo Ball is also out and it'll be a nice chance for Ingram to showcase more than his scoring game. It's just a temporary move and Rondo will pick up where he left off (assuming Ball remains out) for the next preseason game, but it'll be good for the Lakers in the long run if Ingram can handle the job for a handful of possessions here and there. Lance Stephenson and Alex Caruso will also see increased opportunities tonight.
