Despite a valiant effort, the Raptors could not contain Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson on Wednesday.
The Raptors clawed their way back into this game after falling behind by 22 in the first quarter, but ultimately couldn’t contain the most talented starting five in basketball. Durant finished with 22 points, 17 boards, seven assists, three treys and a staggering six blocks. He’s fantasy’s best player through the opening nine weeks of the season. Curry added 28 points of his own to go with seven rebounds, seven assists and three 3-pointers, while Thompson scored 21 points with five triples, six boards, two assists, one steal and two blocks. Finally, Green was surgically efficient passing the basketball while also playing his typically stalwart defense. He totaled 14 points, six boards, 10 assists, two threes, two steals and two blocks. This just in, the Warriors are pretty good at basketball.
