• Masai Ujiri
    Team, Toronto Raptors

The Raptors have interviewed Zalgiris head coach and ex-NBA player Zarunas Jasikevicius for their vacant head coaching position, per Adrian Wojnarowski.

Jasikevicius is a star in the European coaching ranks and is coming off a season where he led Zalgiris to the EuroLeague Final Four. The general consensus appears to be that Zalgiris lacked talent and athleticism but got by on the back of hard work and Jasikevicius' system. Wojnarowski goes on to add that assistant Nick Nurse and Spurs assistants Ime Udoka and Ettore Messina are still being strongly considered, but Ujiri is undoubtedly casting a wide net in his search for the next coach. Somewhat shockingly, this is the first time in his career as an executive that he's overseen a coaching search. It's not at all shocking, however, to see that he's examining "off board" options in an effort to lay all the options before him before making his next move.
