June 18, 2019, 4:36 pmChris PaulG, Houston Rockets
According to sources of Yahoo! Sports, Chris Paul wants to be traded from the Rockets as his relationship with James Harden is "unsalvageable."
Whoa. There's been rumblings that the two were at odds, as well as Paul being shopped, but this may be the final blow for a team that disappointed in their opportunities the last few years. Paul's contract makes it hard for him to be traded, though the asking price may be as low as ever. This offseason continues to get crazier.

January 17, 2020, 11:29 pmDeMar DeRozanSG, San Antonio Spurs
DeMar DeRozan kept his foot on the gas pedal in Friday's 120-121 loss to the Hawks, collecting 25 points (9-for-18 FG, 7-for-7 FT), nine rebounds, nine assists and two steals.
DeRozan has been in beast mode for the last month, returning first-round value in that time. The Spurs are battling for the last playoff spot in the West and will need DDR to deliver like this to make it happen, so unless they fade from the picture and fold up shop, there's nothing to keep him from posting another top-40 season. LaMarcus Aldridge is in that same boat and put up 30 points, five rebounds, a steal and a 3-pointer in 28 minutes tonight.
January 17, 2020, 11:28 pmShai Gilgeous-AlexanderSG, Oklahoma City Thunder
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander shot 5-of-13 from the floor on Friday but made up for it elsewhere with 18 points, five rebounds, eight assists and two threes in 37 minutes.
SGA is still shooting .523 from the field in January and is averaging 20.4 points, 7.7 boards, 4.0 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.6 blocks during that time. Those numbers have him ranked 13th over that stretch and he is breaking out in a big way lately. There's no reason he can't be an early-round player rest of season, and if Chris Paul is traded or injured SGA will explode. Do not sell high.
January 17, 2020, 11:26 pmDejounte MurrayPG, San Antonio Spurs
Dejounte Murray double-doubled in Friday's home loss, picking up 13 points, 12 rebounds, five assists and three steals in 33 minutes.
Murray took a back seat to Derrick White earlier in the week but took charge again tonight as the two continue to jockey for the lion's share in San Antonio's backcourt. Murray is the better play as a steady middle-round value, though the random disappearing acts when White is playing well are frustrating. White had eight points, a steal, a block and a 3-pointer in 18 minutes while Patty Mills harshed everyone's mellow by scoring 15 points in 24 minutes.
January 17, 2020, 11:23 pmJakob PoeltlC, San Antonio Spurs
Jakob Poeltl came off the bench for four points, five rebounds, four assists, a steal and three blocks in 20 minutes on Friday night.
Poeltl is on a nice block run of late, with 11 over his previous five games. He's swatting enough shots to be worth your time in 12-team leagues if you need a simple blocks specialist, though his overall output leaves him better suited for the 14-16-team range.
January 17, 2020, 11:22 pmTrey LylesPF, San Antonio Spurs
Trey Lyles went scoreless on Friday but managed to post 10 rebounds, a steal and two blocks in 20 minutes.
That's not bad all things considered, though he didn't really do much to take advantage of Rudy Gay's absence opening up more minutes at power forward. He's getting 17.3 mpg on the season and is a rebounding specialist if you're scraping the bottom of the barrel in 20-teamers.
January 17, 2020, 11:15 pmDennis SchroderPG, Oklahoma City Thunder
Dennis Schroder shot 6-of-16 from the field on his way to scoring 18 points with seven rebounds and eight assists in 38 minutes.
Schroder tanked your team's field goal percentage but was able to fight through the poor shooting to put up a nice fantasy line. Schroder is a fine hold in standard-leagues and has upside if Chris Paul gets injured or traded.
January 17, 2020, 11:13 pmCam ReddishG-F, Atlanta Hawks
Cam Reddish turned in a big game in Friday's road win, scoring 22 points while adding five rebounds, four assists, four steals, a block and five 3-pointers.
Reddish went 8-of-13 from the floor and the Hawks won in San Antonio for the first time since February of 1997. That's a long, long time, even with the teams only meeting there once a year. Reddish's play is starting to even out a bit and lines like this show you the multi-cat upside, but his terrible efficiency (.323 on 8.7 attempts entering tonight) make him a non-option in builds where FG% matters, and his overall inconsistencies make him tough to work with outside of extremely deep leagues. Still, nights like this make you wonder how impactful he can be in the long term.
January 17, 2020, 11:10 pmBruno FernandoPF, Atlanta Hawks
Bruno Fernando returned to the rotation on Friday night, notching three points and four rebounds in eight minutes of action.
Fernando missed the last four games after his mother passed away but is back with the team and ready to play. He remains a deep-league option for this year.
January 17, 2020, 11:09 pmTrae YoungPG, Atlanta Hawks
Trae Young shot 10-of-16 from the field in Friday's road victory on his way to 31 points, five rebounds, nine assists, one steal, one block and six 3-pointers.
Young has had two outstanding games since returning from a minor hamstring injury and he'll be an early-round player in just his second season in the league. The Hawks have a chance to boast two top-20 fantasy players between Young and John Collins, who put up 18 & 10 in this win over the Spurs.
January 17, 2020, 11:08 pmBam AdebayoC, Miami Heat
Bam Adebayo scored 21 points on Friday (7-of-11 from the field) with eight rebounds, fives assists and one block in 32 minutes.
Adebayo also shot 7-of-10 from the line and has improved to .681 from the line on the season after shooting .730 in the past month. He is a multi-category monster in fantasy and will post early-round value the rest of the way.
