Clint Capela, who had his worst performance of the season in the Rockets' Game 4 loss to the Jazz on Monday, told ESPN that he has been battling two respiratory illnesses during the series.
Capela, who missed a practice due to the illness days before the series started, said that he was diagnosed with adenovirus and a klebsiella infection during a Sunday visit to a Salt Lake City doctor. The big man was prescribed medication and eye drops while he was also told it would be another four or five days before he would be fully recovered. Capela had a season-worst scoring total on Monday while the Rockets were outscored by 20 points with him on the floor. The series moves to Houston now with Game 5 set to take place on Wednesday and with a quick turnaround it will be interesting to see whether Capela can return to his usual form.
