George Hill and Kyle Korver are "logical candidates" to be bought out if they aren't traded, per Jason Lloyd of The Athletic.
The Cavs are going to be stripping down their roster and clearing their cap commitments for the future. Hill is owed $19 million this season and had been asked about a buyout in the event that LeBron James left when he was first acquired from Sacramento. He wasn't interested at that point and isn't currently, but things might change as we get closer to the regular season. Korver is also likely to be moved, as he's a great complementary piece for a contender. He's far more likely to move on the trade market than Hill, but neither player should be expected to finish this season with Cleveland. Even starting the season with Cleveland may be a longshot. Collin Sexton and Cedi Osman are two guys who should benefit if Hill and Korver are removed from the roster.
