The Grizzlies have declined the fourth-year option on small forward Josh Jackson, according to Chris Herrington of the Daily Memphian.
The decision will now make the No. 4 overall pick in 2017 an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. Jackson was traded from the Suns to the Grizzlies this past offseason but he will begin the season with the Memphis Hustle of the G League. He is entering his third NBA season after averaging 11.5 points and 4.4 rebounds in 79 games last year with the Suns, but he should be left in the waiver wire for now.
