• There are indications that Nikola Mirotic would pass on a veto and accept a trade from the Bulls according to K.C. Johnson.

Mirotic can’t be traded until after January 18 either way, but his new contract included a no-trade clause in the first year of the deal, which is where him passing on his veto becomes relevant. Prior to the beginning of the season, Mirotic and teammate Bobby Portis were involved in an altercation that resulted in Mirotic being hospitalized. Portis was suspended eight games, while Mirotic was ruled out for almost a month. As of now, it looks as though Mirotic would like to move to another team is the Bulls can find a suitor. It’s a situation that is developing over time so when more information becomes available we’ll let you know.
