Bleacher Report’s Eric Pinkus reported that sources inform him that Jimmy Butler is open to playing with LeBron James in L.A.
It has already been reported that Butler wants to play with his buddy Kyrie Irving (including speculation that both could sign with the Knicks as free agents for the 2019-20 season), but it makes sense for Jimmy to keep his options open as he’s already 28 years old with not too many more years left in his prime. Last year Butler had per-game value of No. 14/11 in 8/9cat but missed 23 games largely due to a meniscus injury. With coach Tom Thibodeau still at the helm running his players into the ground, Butler remains an injury risk but might offer some upside if he continues to fall in fantasy drafts.
