Cavs’ forward Kevin Love has signed a four-year, $120 million contract extension that tops out his overall deal at five years $145 million.
General manager Koby Altman and Kevin Love are set to announce the extension at Quicken Loans Arena, with team employees and renovation construction workers in attendance. It’s an interesting move for the Cavs who are destined for a rebuilding period after LeBron James’ exit this summer, as Dan Gilbert looks determined to keep the Cavs a playoff team, making sure Love doesn’t hit the free agency in 2019.
