Kevin Love is targeting a mid-January return to the court from foot surgery, following a consultation on Monday with Dr. Martin O’Malley in New York.
Scans on his foot were clean, and Love said he can begin to ramp up his workouts in three to four weeks, estimating his absence extending for another six weeks. The Cavs obviously have an eye on the draft lottery but they will have to play Love in order to show potential trade partners that he is healthy before the February 7th trade deadline. Regardless, Love’s return keeps getting pushed lately and owners should only hold on to him if they have an IL spot available while Tristan Thompson remains a must-add in all leagues.
