The Kings are among the teams that have expressed interest in trading for Jeremy Lin, according to Marc Stein of the New York Times.
Lin figures to be a hot commodity on the trade market but it'd be an odd fit in Sacramento. They already have a capable ball-handler in the second unit in Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Yogi Ferrell and Frank Mason can probably do a good enough job behind him that the Kings shouldn't be spending assets to acquire Lin on an expiring deal. You can never rule anything out with the Kings, but it's a strange set of dots to connect. Expect to hear plenty more about Lin in the coming weeks as every team with eyes on the playoffs should be looking out for more playmakers.
