According to ESPN.com The Knicks are shopping Mindaugas Kuzminskas to make room for Joakim Noah.
The Knicks need to clear a roster spot so they can bring back center Koakim Noah after his 20-game suspension. If they can’t get a trade done than Ramon Sessions is a candidate to be waived after Jarret Jack supplanted him as the starting point guard and the improved play of Frank Ntilikina makes Sessions expendable. The veteran guard’s contract is guaranteed for the veterans minimum so they would prefer to complete a two for one or a player for a pick to keep him. Kuzminskas averaged 6.0 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.0 assists in 15 minutes per game last year so there is a little bit of value there depending on what team he gets traded to. Right now the 28-year-old is buried on the Knicks depth chart and has yet to see the court this season.
