Jordan Schultz of Yahoo Sports is reporting that the Mavs, Suns, Bulls and Pacers will be contenders for Marcus Smart.
Smart is an RFA and the Celtics will also be in the running. He's already said that he's worth more than $12-14 million a year and could end up pricing himself out of Boston considering their backcourt depth. Of course, the other teams here might not want to go that high and it could result in the Celtics matching a fairly reasonable offer. Smart's skillset makes him a low-end fantasy player but it's possible that a full-time starting gig in Dallas or Chicago, for example, would push him slightly higher up the ranks.
