It's believed that the Mavs will not offer DeAndre Jordan a multi-year deal this summer, according to Mac Engel of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
The Mavs finally landed Jordan in free agency last year after his infamous flirtation with the team years ago that resulted in him re-signing with the Clippers. Dallas got their man last summer, but signed him to an expensive single-year contract. It was a good move for both, with Jordan getting big money and the Mavs getting a trial run with a player they've always felt would be a good fit. That's been the case so far but the team is understandably hesitant to offer up big money for a player who is on the wrong side of 30 that relies so heavily on sheer athleticism. Jordan's market should be quite interesting to track during the summer, but we wouldn't expect this to impact fantasy owners at all.
