• Lonzo Ball
    G, Los Angeles Lakers

Lonzo Ball's camp remains insistent that New Orleans is not the best basketball situation for him were the Lakers to include him in an Anthony Davis trade, and Tania Ganguli of the L.A. Times is reporting that there's mutual interested between Ball and the Suns.

Ball, or whoever is speaking for him, doesn't want to be traded to a team with an established point guard. If he did end up on the Pelicans he would obviously leapfrog Elfrid Payton while Jrue Holiday shifts to shooting guard full-time, but clearly the Ball camp doesn't view that as an ideal setup. They seem to prefer Phoenix, who does need a long-term point guard answer. We'll see if Ball gets traded for Davis, and if he does whether he's re-routed to the Suns. A trade would be huge for his fantasy value this year.
