While there's no official deal in place, the Kings and Nemanja Bjelica are reportedly discussing a two-year contract worth around $13 million.
It'll come with $2 million guaranteed in that second season. Bjelica had a one-year, $4.4 million deal lined up with the Sixers before backing out and declaring that he was headed to Europe. Those reports were a little fishy since there was no mention of any specific European teams, and the Kings were said to be trying to convince him that he's too good to play in Europe. Money talks. Bjelica could easily be a standard league option if he ends up logging big minutes, and while the Kings have a ton of power forward types there's an opening at small forward if they want to play him out of position. Just keep in mind that David Pick specializes in European hoops, not typical NBA news.
