The Brooklyn Nets have signed guard/forward Mitchell Creek to a training camp deal.
Creek joins the Nets after spending the last eight seasons playing internationally for both Adelaide of the Australian National Basketball League and BG Gottingen of the German Basketball League. He was named to the All-NBL Second Team last year after guiding Adelaide to the finals and concluded the season ranked second on his team in points (14.8) and steals (1.2), third in rebounds (6.0) and fourth in assists (2.6). He then averaged 11.9 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 21.4 minutes per contest in seven games with BG Gottingen. Creek showed some flashes as a member of the Mavs in this year’s Summer League, appearing in five games and averaging 6.8 points and 5.2 rebounds in 18.0 minutes per game and earning an invitation to September’s camp.
