Brendan Marks of the Charlotte Observer thinks that Quinn Cook could see solid minutes at point guard for the Warriors on Wednesday.
There is no doubt that Cook will see minutes tonight and with Kerr also waffling on who would start at point guard, there is a chance he could get the nod keeping Shaun Livingston in his normal bench role. How many minutes he gets will largely be determined on if he plays well enough and how competitive the game is so DFS players could take a chance on him with how cheap he is. What we do know for certain is that the young guard has been on a tear in the G-League averaging 25.1 points, 8.4 assists and 5.6 boards a game and even Draymond Green said he thought it was ridiculous that Quinn isn’t a regular NBA player. Patrick McCaw (nose) being out on Wednesday also opens up the potential for a large role for Quinn, but when the Warriors are fully healthy Quinn will be irrelevant.
