According to TSN sources the Raptors are leaning towards changing coaches.
After a disappointing sweep at the hands of LeBron James, the Raptors are evaluating their options and due to their cap situation the only change they can really make is a coaching one. Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan and Serge Ibaka are owed more than $164 million over the next two years, making it incredibly difficult to deal either one. The Raptors have been swept out of the playoffs for the third time in four years and twice being the higher seed which does not reflect well on Casey. He is also a coach of the year candidate which makes the situation even more ironic. Despite his potential job loss Casey has overseen the Raptors' most successful stretch in their 23-year existence and is well-regarded around the league. If the Raptors end his tenure sooner rather than later he could be a candidate for some of the open NBA jobs such as Orlando, Milwaukee, Atlanta and Detroit.
