According to Zach Lowe of ESPN, the Houston Rockets have set up a meeting with Michael Carter Williams on July 1.
Carter-Williams would probably serve as a backup to Chris Paul as the Rockets don't really have another true point guard on the roster. In his tenure with Charlotte this year, Carter-Williams averaged 4.6 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 16.1 minutes. He's been on and off of the court over the last few years, but he's a decent point guard when he's healthy.
