According to Jason Anderson of the Sacramento Bee, the Kings would be more willing to trade Willie Cauley-Stein if their rumored acquisition of Enes Kanter were to happen.
It makes sense, as Cauley-Stein is an impending restricted free agent. He and Kanter would be stuck in a timeshare if the Kings were to keep both, and a young center who offers some upside might be able to help them fill other holes on the roster. Anderson mentioned the Wizards as a potential trade partner in any WCS deal, especially since the Kings have been connected to Otto Porter for a couple years now. This is all still speculation and not something to think about too heavily for now, but if the Kings do acquire Kanter it could just be the first in a sequence of moves.
