According to Matt Velasquez of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Shabazz Muhammad will have to prove he deserves the final roster spot over another member of the Bucks' training-camp roster or free agent.
Milwaukee's roster currently includes 14 players on guaranteed contracts while Tyler Zeller remains with the team on a non-guaranteed deal. Additionally, Travis Trice, Brandon McCoy and Jordan Barnett have all signed training-camp contracts and Muhammad will have to beat all of them in order to make it to the team’s final roster. He joined the Bucks on March 4th after being let go by the Wolves and had a limited but noticeable impact during 11 regular-season appearances, providing instant offense off the bench to the tune of 8.5 points in 10.6 minutes per contest while shooting 55 percent from the field. The veteran guard also had strong contributions off the bench on Games 2 and 5 against the Celtics, scoring 11 points in both games while playing 12 and 10 minutes, respectively.
