The Sixers and Nets are near agreement on a deal that would send Jahlil Okafor, Nik Stauskas and a second-round pick to Brooklyn for Trevor Booker according to Zach Lowe.
Philadelphia is sending the Knicks’ 2019 second-round pick in the deal. The Nets will waive Sean Kilpatrick to complete the deal and free up a roster spot. With Mozgov, Allen and Zeller all active at center on the Nets roster, Okafor’s fit is questionable. However, they wouldn’t target him unless they had plans to use him. He’ll be in their rotation, but how many minutes he plays remains to be seen. Consider Okafor a speculative add in standard formats, and a must-own in deeper leagues. Stauskas is someone worth monitoring too, but as of now he’s nothing more than a deep league guy. As for Booker in Philadelphia, his future role, as well as future with the team is murky so it’s hard to predict what kind of role he’ll have moving forward.
