Hawks’ rookie Tyler Dorsey was booked into the Lane County Jail on Saturday on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants, driving without lights and having an open alcoholic beverage container.
According to the police report, an officer spotted Dorsey’s car with its lights off and after an investigation, the rookie was arrested and released an hour later on a $590 bail. The 6’5” shooting guard posted averages of 7.2 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists in his rookie campaign while appearing in 56 games. The team made an announcement acknowledging the incident but no disciplinary action is going to take place before the legal process is complete.
