The Nuggets and Will Barton will agree to a four-year deal worth just over $50 million when free agency begins, per Yahoo's Chris Mannix.
The Pacers were the biggest rumored suitor out there but Denver has been consistent about retaining Will The Thrill into last season. They'll still need to move out some players to clear cap space and have been trying to ship away Wilson Chandler, Kenneth Faried and Darrell Arthur in recent weeks. Barton should be good to go as a middle-round fantasy player — he accomplished the feat this season and may not have to contend with Chandler taking up minutes on the wing next year. Zach Lowe has since added that Barton has a player option in the fourth year of the deal.
