According to Chase Hughes of NBC Sports, the Wizards are gunning for Tomas Satoransky to sign the dotted line before he gets other offers from interested teams, and the feeling is mutual between both parties.
With John Wall having undergone left heel surgery and out for the next 6-8 months, Satoransky, hitting restricted free agency this summer, is obviously the next man up and Washington wants to secure his services as soon as possible or else they'll have to pay a lot more if he entertains offers during the summer. He hasn't taken advantage of being the starting PG yet this season, with averages of 11.0 PTS, 1.3 3PTM, 4.7 REB, 5.1 AST and 1.3 STL while hovering around late round value for the past two weeks. Although, if somebody in your league is impatient and managed to drop him, kindly snag him up and see the numbers rise to around top-50 value, which he had last season when Wall was out.
