Richaun Holmes scored four points on 2-of-4 shooting with six rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 26 minutes off the bench on Tuesday in a loss to the Kings.
The Sixers were without Embiid tonight, and opted to insert Amir Johnson in the starting lineup as his replacement. That left Holmes on the bench to start the game, but he was a bench player in name only as he ended the night with nearly 10 more minutes logged than Johnson. With Embiid grabbing a series of DNPs lately due to rest or a nagging back injury, Holmes has been posting top-100 value. It is hard to say exactly what the future holds, but he is clearly demonstrating his upside when the minutes are there.
