Ricky Rubio reignited his second half surge in Saturday’s road victory, posting 10 points, eight rebounds, six assists and four steals against the Kings.
Rubio’s value has always lied in the counting stats, and that was underscored by tonight’s woeful efficiency. He was 4-for-16 from the field and just 2-of-5 at the free throw line. While his last two weeks have been pretty underwhelming, Rubio sits in the top-90 over the last month. His hip injury before the All-Star break sucked the wind out of his sails in a big way so owners will be hoping that tonight’s line is a sign of things to come. Maybe with better shot selection, though.
