• Rodney Hood - G - Trail Blazers

Rodney Hood (gastroenteritis) will play on Thursday against the Nets.

Hood's stomach issues have popped up throughout his career but they've yet to result in any extended absence. He's fine to plug into lineups if you normally would.

  • Michael Kidd-Gilchrist - F - Charlotte Hornets

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist has officially cleared the NBA Concussion Protocol and is expected to play against the Spurs.

MKD will return after being sidelined for the last three games. He is still expected to play behind Miles Bridges and Frank Kaminsky so he isn’t a reliable fantasy contributor at this point.

  • Nicolas Batum - G/F - Charlotte Hornets

Nicolas Batum is still suffering from a virus and doesn’t anticipate playing tonight against the Spurs.

Batum said that has lost 8 pounds since getting sick and it makes sense for him to not being able to return to the court just yet. Dwayne Bacon should continue to start and is someone to consider in deeper formats as he scored 20 points in Sunday’s win.

  • Al Horford - F/C - Boston Celtics

Brad Stevens said that Al Horford is probable to play against the Cavs tonight after participating in the morning shootaround.

Horford was kept out of the last couple games as the Celtics opted to be cautious with their big man due to what was described as knee soreness. It looks likely that he returns tonight but make sure you double check closer to tip-off for the official confirmation. Horford has been impressive this year returning top-30 value with only the occasional rest day hurting his owners.

  • Jayson Tatum - F - Boston Celtics

Speaking to reporters this morning, Brad Stevens said that Jayson Tatum is probable for tonight’s game against the Cavs after participating in the team’s shootaround.

Tatums missed the game on Sunday but looks to be on track to return after a short absence. The Celtics will be without Kyrie Irving who is taking the night off so Tatum is looking at some increased usage against one of the bottom defenses of the league.

  • Kawhi Leonard - F - Toronto Raptors

Josh Lewenberg of TSN is reporting that many Raptors officials have become increasingly confident in the team’s chances of re-signing Kawhi Leonard this summer.

Kawhi has enjoyed a nice year in Toronto appearing in just 54 of Toronto’s 74 games, as the Raptors have proven that they’re willing to give him a quarter of the regular season off. This hasn’t gone unnoticed by Kawhi with those who know him and have been around him for years saying that he’s looking more and more comfortable with his new surroundings as the season has gone on. The Clippers, the Lakers and maybe the Knicks are expected to go after him this summer while it will be interesting to see how deep the Raptors make it into the playoffs.

  • Chris Boucher - F - Toronto Raptors

Jordan Loyd, Malcolm Miller and Chris Boucher are all with the Raptors 905 for their playoff game against the Grand Rapids tonight.

Boucher and Miller both earned rest of season contracts with the Raptors recently but they are still far away from getting any consistent playing time with the main squad. Toronto also signed Jodie Meeks during the weekend showing their intention to boost their bench with more veterans ahead of the playoffs that begin in a few weeks.

  • Salah Mejri - C - Dallas Mavericks

Salad Mejri is no longer listed on the injury report for tonight’s game against the Kings.

Mejri missed the previous game with an illness but it looks like he will be available on Tuesday. He is only a deep league option and with Maxi Kleber and Dwight Powell available he shouldn’t see any action.

  • Tony Snell - G - Milwaukee Bucks

The official NBA injury report is listing Tony Snell as out for tonight’s game against the Rockets.

Snell suffered the injury on Sunday and never returned to the game. We haven’t heard anything about the severity of his injury but being ruled out of tonight’s game since yesterday doesn’t bond well for his status going forward. George Hill, Pat Connaughton or Sterling Brown will likely replace him in the starting lineup while Ersan Ilyasova and DJ Wilson could also see some extra minutes with the Bucks currently missing Malcolm Brogdon, Nikola Mirotic and Pau Gasol as well.

  • Sergio Llull - G - Houston Rockets

The agent for Sergio Llull said that the Spanish guard has not completely ruled out the possibility of joining the Rockets.

Houston has been trying to convince Lull to sign in the NBA since he was drafted back in 2009. The Spanish guard has been the leader of Real Madrid for many years where he earns less money than what Houston could offer him but his contract doesn’t expire until 2021 and he is already 32 years old.

  • Jusuf Nurkic - C - Trail Blazers

The Blazers announced that Jusuf Nurkic suffered a compound fracture to his left leg and will require surgery, costing him the remainder of the season.

The report confirms what we all thought happened after the devastating fall Nurk took at the end of the 2OT last night. Paul George had an identical injury back in 2005 but he was able to come back stronger than ever after eight months, so Nurkic is likely looking at a similar timetable. It remains to be seen whether Terry Stotts will insert Enes Kanter or Zach Collins to the starting lineup but both guys deserve consideration in standard leagues with the Blazers having three more games this week. Our hopes and prayers are with Nurkic for now while it was great to see the entire NBA community offer words of support to him last night.
